We are so lucky to have many different brands of freshly roasted coffee served in town, so do try all the venues, every one offers a different style and flavour. Enjoy!

No7 Coffee House

Perfect coffee shop for early morning starts, opening at 7am. Delicious coffee from Deluxe Coffeeworks and a Bedford Blues rugby theme.

The coffee shop equivalent of Cheers - everyone knows your name. Perfect Italian Super Crema roasted coffee in a place that feels like home.

d'Parys

An upmarket hotel and pub serves good coffee. The best spot is in the nook next to the large open fire.

Fancy Bakery

Congratulations if you find Fancy Bakery! With just the word Fancy visible in the window. That said, the queues out of the door give it away! Phenomenal!

Good strong coffee, excellent service, cosy indoors and an outdoor area that's good for people watching, sunny spot.

Green Earth Cafe

Bedford's Vegan Cafe is very good and serves lovely Wooden Hill coffee available with plant based milks. The decor is really cool and vegan cakes are excellent.

Maison Le Vôtre

A taste of Paris in Bedford. Delicious cakes, bread and coffees in Silver Square, where you can sit outside in true Parisian style.

Not Another Jungle

A plant lover's paradise and a coffee lover's paradise. This super shop on Silver Square serves coffee from the superb Yellow Bourbon Coffee from Northampton.

Papillon Coffee House

A meander along Castle Road brings you to this busy and cosy coffee house serving Wooden Hill coffee. There's also seating outdoors.

REAL COFFEE

This fab coffee house is in a great spot on the High Street, set up in collaboration with Real Bedford Football Club - The excellent coffee is by Monmouth Coffee.

SAY Doughnuts

This lovely, tiny shop on Mill Street packs a big punch with amazing coffee from Allpress. The combination of coffee and doughnuts is definitely a match made in heaven!

The Embankment

Sit outside under the sun umbrellas and enjoy your coffee served with a mini-bowl of smarties and enjoy the wonderful view of the Embankment gardens and River Great Ouse.

The Higgins Pantry

Traditional Italian food and good Illy Italian coffee served here. Pop in when you've been to The Higgins Museum and relax after a wonderful visit to the art gallery.

The Longholm

This wonderful outdoor cafe right next to the boating lake along the river is a brilliant place to stop and enjoy a tasty cup of coffee locally roasted by Doe & Fawn.

This former pub definitely wins the award for the most beautifully decorated coffee shop venue, with delicious coffee served beautifully on a wooden tray.

A beautifully appointed coffee house within The Arcade in Bedford town centre. Such good coffee by Kingfisher. Also get a tattoo if you fancy!

This super popular bagel and coffee spot is busy, bright, popular and also sells many different types of roasted coffees by House of Coffee to take home.
